Creamy Homemade Hummus

Homemade Granola

INGREDIENTS

Dry Ingredients:
4 cups Old Fashioned Oats
1/2 cup Sunflower seeds
1/2 cup Almonds chopped or slivered
1/4 tsp Kosher salt
1 tsp Nutmeg
1 tsp Ground Cinnamon

Wet Ingredients:
1/2 cup Pure maple syrup
1/4 cup Honey
1/4 cup Brown sugar
1/8 cup Vanilla extract

Optional: add craisins or raisins

INSTRUCTIONS

Preheat oven to 325-350 degrees. In a large bowl, mix all dry ingredients together. Set aside.
In a large stock pot, add all the wet ingredients, bring to a boil stirring often. Be careful not to over boil. Let mixture cool until lukewarm. Pour wet ingredients into the bowl with the dry ingredients and thoroughly mix together.

Pour mixture onto a baking sheet and press granola so it is flat. Be sure to use a non-stick baking mat or wax paper as this makes it easier to remove granola from pan. Bake for 30 minutes or until golden brown and firm. Once cool, crumble and store in an airtight container.

Enjoy!
