Cracked But Not Broken

Just as recipes need a few more ingredients to
achieve their deep, rich flavor, life’s hardships leave us with stronger, richer characters.

Though we don’t like it, life throws us into situations that can leave us feeling
hurt and betrayed with heavy hearts. Throughout this book, we’ll be talking about
how all the cracks in our lives–the good, the bad, and the ugly–shape us.

While we normally shy away from these cracks, I want this book to be a reminder
of hope. A reminder that one small crack does not define our lives or leave us broken.
Instead, our cracks shape us into the people we are becoming and offer us an opportunity for growth.

One small crack does not mean you are broken; it means you were
put to the test and you didn’t fall apart.”
