INGREDIENTS
Ingredients:
1 large salmon fillet
1 tsp chili powder
1 tsp brown sugar (Swerve)
½ tsp paprika
½ tsp minced garlic
½ tsp onion powder
¼ tsp black pepper
½ tsp sea salt
Pineapple Mango Salsa
½ cup mango diced small
½ cup pineapple diced small
¼ cup red onion diced small
1 tbsp cilantro finely chopped
juice from lime
INSTRUCTIONS
Combine all seasonings together in a small bowl and lay on a plate.
Gently pat-dry salmon fillet and place in seasoning blend – fully coat side without the skin.
Heat a medium sized skillet high heat with olive oil. Reduce heat to medium and place salmon filets season side down.
Once you are done searing the salmon on flip to seat skin-side down for an additional 6 minutes over medium heat. You may carefully remove the skin from the salmon at this time with a pair of tongs and sprinkle seasoning over top.
Once cooked all the way through you can set aside while you make the Pineapple Mango salsa.
Salsa Instructions:
Combine all ingredients together in a small bowl and squeeze juice of 1/2 lime over top.
