INGREDIENTS
1 cup pecans, halved
1 cup walnuts, chopped
1 cup almonds, whole
1/2 cup pure maple syrup
1 tbsp butter
1 tsp brown sugar (I used Swerve)
Pinch of sea salt
Pinch of cinnamon
Pinch of Cayenne pepper (Optional)
INSTRUCTIONS
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Mix together melted butter, syrup, brown sugar, sea salt, cinnamon and cayenne pepper (if desired) in a medium sized bowl.
In a large bowl, combine nuts and maple syrup mixture.
On a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, spread nut mixture as far apart as possible. Bake 40-45 minutes – stir at the half way point.
