1 Tbsp. olive oil
1/4 teaspoon lawreys seasoning
1.5 lbs. steak cut into bite sized pieces
1 Tbsp. onion soup mix
1 chopped yellow onion
1 tbsp minced garlic
1/2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1 can beefy mushroom soup
1/2 pkg egg noodles, cooked according to package
1/2 cup sliced mushrooms (optional)
1 Tbsp corn starch mixed with water to thicken sauce
Salt & pepper to taste
INSTRUCTIONS
Heat olive oil in a large skillet. Add onion and cook until soft & translucent – stir in garlic. Add beef and brown on all sides. Stir in beefy mushroom soup, Worcestershire, onion soup mix & mushrooms (optional) – bring to a boil then reduce heat, cover and simmer for 15-20 minutes until meat is tender.
Alternatively: combine all ingredients in a crock pot and slow cook on low for 4-6 hours.
To thicken sauce mix together corn starch and water, slowly add into beef mixture.
Salt & pepper to taste & serve over cooked noodles with broccoli.
